From Worksite Problem to Launch

Problem Discovered

Grafters were sick of shirts that couldn’t keep up with a hard day’s work. Cheap cotton soaked through, polyester trapped heat, and by smoko most blokes were covered in sweat patches. Shirts stretched out, sagged, and looked wrecked after a few weeks on site. We knew there had to be a better option — something tough enough for the worksite but comfortable enough to wear all day.

Material Engineering

We started experimenting with natural fibres that could actually handle real work. Hemp stood out immediately — stronger than cotton, naturally breathable, and built to last. After months of testing blends and fabric weights, we landed on a hemp, bamboo and organic cotton mix that delivers durability without sacrificing comfort. The result was a material that stays cool, holds its shape, and feels better the more you wear it.

Worksite Testing

Before launching anything, the shirts had to survive the real test — the worksite. We gave prototypes to tradies across Australia and let them put the shirts through proper graft. Long days in the heat, lifting, climbing, sweating. The feedback was clear: the fabric breathed better, stayed comfortable, and didn’t fall apart after a few washes.

Will the shirt shrink after washing?

No major shrinkage. Our hemp blend fabric is pre-treated to minimise shrinkage. For best results, wash cold and air dry or tumble dry on low.
